La Chauve-Souris, which translates into “the bat,” was a cabaret that originated in Moscow in the early 20th century, eventually making its way to Paris where it opened in 1920. This print is an oversized reproduction of the original leaflet that was distributed throughout the streets of Paris in the fall of that year.
The production of this edition was done by Bruce Licher, who Print magazine referred to as a “letterpress hero.”
